Shipping & returns

Shipping

Everything is packed by hand and sealed to protect it in transit. Orders ship from Ontario, Canada to Canada and the United States.

Shipping is $5 CAD within Canada and $8 CAD to the United States, and it's free on Canadian orders over $40 and US orders over $50.

Standard shipping is untracked. Post can be slow, especially across the border — if your parcel hasn't arrived within 3 weeks in Canada or 4 weeks to the US, get in touch and we'll sort it out.

US orders are charged in Canadian dollars. Your bank converts at its own rate, and any customs or import charges are set by your country, not by illuscyn.

If something's wrong

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or isn't what you ordered, message me within 14 days of it arriving, with a photo if you can. You'll be offered a replacement or a full refund, including what you paid for shipping. You won't be asked to send anything back at your own cost.

If your parcel is lost in the post — nothing after the windows above — the same applies. A replacement or a refund, your choice.

Changed your mind

Everything is made in small batches by one person, so returns simply because you changed your mind aren't normally accepted. If you've made a genuine mistake — the wrong item, a duplicate order — say so before it ships and it'll be cancelled and refunded in full, no questions.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, and usually appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

None of this limits your rights under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act or the consumer law where you live.

Handmade means slightly different

Every item is made and packed by hand, so small variations in cut, placement and colour are normal — and part of the charm. Screens vary too, so colours may look a little different in person. That on its own isn't a fault, but if something looks wrong to you, ask; it's not a problem to talk about it.

Getting in touch

Email cynthiayuan1106@gmail.com, or message @illuscyn on Instagram. Replies usually come within a couple of days.
